PHISHING SCAM TARGETING STUDENTS - JANUARY 2020
It has come to our attention that phishing emails are circulating targeting Penn State students. A phishing email appears to be a legitimate email from Penn State that scams the email recipient to surrender their login credentials and/or private information.
Please beware of any emails requesting that you click on a link to provide your login information. Phishing scams can have serious financial consequences if you surrender your login credentials. As a reminder: Penn State will NEVER ask you for your password, social security number, or other sensitive information via email.
