Special Summer Rate for General Education Online Courses

Did you know that Penn State offers an opportunity to earn General Education credits online at a special summer rate?  

Visit https://summer.outreach.psu.edu/ to view a list of specific courses that have the special summer rate.  Please note that normal rates will apply if you enroll in a different course not included in the list of approved courses.

To receive the special summer rate, choose the campus University Park (UP) and the location SUMMERSESS when searching for classes in LionPATH then enroll in one of the web sections listed at https://summer.outreach.psu.edu/.

The special summer rates are:

$555 per credit hour for students who have completed 59 or fewer credits.

$596 per credit hour for students who have completed 60 or more credits.

Form 1098-T

Penn State releases Form 1098-T to students by January 31st, as federally required. 

Current Students can access their Form 1098-T by logging into their Student Center in LionPATH and clicking on the "Manage Account/Make Payment" link.

Former Students who no longer have access to LionPATH can submit a request through the “Contact” option on our website by selecting the category "1098-T request former student -no access to LionPATH". Please provide your PSU ID and to ensure a response, your current email address.

International Students can submit a request through the “Contact” option on our website by selecting the category "1098-T international student request". Please include your PSU ID.

LionPATH will be offline during Thanksgiving weekend (11/24/17-11/26/17)

LionPATH will be unavailable from Friday, November 24th through Sunday, November 26th (Thanksgiving weekend) due to a software upgrade. **Please note that you will not be able to make payments in CASHNet during this time. You can make payments before or after the Thanksgiving weekend**.   After the upgrade is complete, please make sure to clear cache for each browser you use before logging in to LionPATH again. Email Scam 11/14/17

Email messages that appear to come from an "Admin" address at Penn State University Billing Department are being sent to random individuals at Penn State. The email includes a link to a fake WebAccess page and states that the recipient is undergoing a verification process and must verify his/her account or have the payment account panel temporarily suspended.

What can you do?

If you received one of these messages (see an example shown below), simply delete the email. DO NOT click on the link, provide any information, or respond to the email. This is a phishing email that was not sent by Penn State and the link leads to a bogus site. 

If you did click on the link and entered your Penn State password, you should immediately go to the Penn State Password Management site at: https://www.work.psu.edu/password/change.cgi?path=3 and reset your Penn State password.

If you clicked on the email and entered any credit card or bank information, immediate contact those institutions and change any passwords they may have with those institutions.

Registration Hold - Students noncompliant with vaccine requirements

Beginning Wednesday, October 11, registration holds will be placed for students who have not submitted mandatory immunization information through myUHS. The registration hold will prohibit students from scheduling for spring 2018 courses until the requirement has been met. This will primarily impact students new to the University in summer and fall 2017.  Please click here for additional information.
